ONE GREAT DAY is a UK wide annual charity fundraising day, raising money and support for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and another local children’s charity close to the heart of each community. ONE GREAT DAY is a registered charity and was initiated by parents whose son received care at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Their aim is to inspire, engage and empower our community to make a difference by getting involved in a series of local fundraising events held within each shopping centre across the UK on ONE GREAT DAY!

Event Rhino worked with ONE GREAT DAY to understand their needs and create an activation that drove user engagement and inspired people to give to the charity.
Event Rhino utilised the Halo booth and created a bespoke custom screen, microsite as well as fully branded ONE GREAT DAY overlay for users. Social media interaction was further encouraged with a call to action that drove users to input data and share their branded, hashtagged images and GIFs on social media.
Passersby were immediately attracted to the ring of light around the Halo booth and soon began playing up to the camera.
Every user was encouraged to donate a small amount for the branded print out which was used to generate vital funds for the ONE GREAT DAY charity.

Awareness of the ONE GREAT DAY charity was heightened whether or not passersby used the Halo Booth due to the prominent branding and eye-catching booth
users were inspired to donate over £1500 to the ONE GREAT DAY charity and take away a fully branded keepsake of the day.
